Hello, this is Pao.

No wrapping needed—just layer everything in your rice cooker for a super simple BIG gyoza!
The cabbage becomes meltingly tender, and the gyoza wrappers turn wonderfully chewy!
Ingredients (Serves 4)
Cabbage … 300g
Thinly sliced pork … 300g
Shio-koji (salted rice malt) … 2 tbsp
Shiso leaves … 12
Gyoza wrappers … 18
Japanese soup stock granules … 1/2 tsp
Water … 150ml
Instructions
1.Place two cabbage leaves at the bottom of the rice cooker.

2.Rub the pork with shio-koji and pepper. Cut the cabbage into 3 cm squares.
3.Spread 1/3 of the pork on top of the cabbage.

4.Layer 4 shiso leaves, 6 gyoza wrappers, and 1/3 of the cabbage over the pork. Repeat 3 times, ending with cabbage on top.
Pour diluted soup stock around the edges.

5.Start the regular cooking mode on your rice cooker.
When cooking is complete, place a flat plate on top, tilt the rice cooker to drain the excess broth.
Once drained, flip the contents onto the plate. Pour the reserved broth over and enjoy!
