The sweetness of sweet potato and the aroma of burdock go perfectly together! !

Easy to make in a frying pan!
Ingredients (for 4 people)
Sweet potato…150g
Burdock…100g
Sake: 2 tablespoons
*1 tablespoon each of soy sauce and mirin
*Cane sugar: 2 teaspoons
Black sesame seeds/2 tablespoons
Sesame oil…1 tablespoon
How to make
1.Wash the burdock thoroughly, scrape off the skin with the back of a knife, and cut into thin strips. Expose to water.
2.Cut the sweet potato into 4cm long pieces and soak in water.
3.Drain the sweet potato and burdock root in a colander and drain thoroughly.
Add sesame oil to a heated frying pan, add burdock and fry. When the burdock has softened a little, add the sweet potato and stir-fry.
4.Once the oil is coated, add the sake, cover and steam for about 2 minutes.
5.When the sweet potatoes turn yellow, add * and simmer to coat.
When it becomes glossy and the water has reduced, add black sesame seeds and stir to complete.
