A simple snack made in a frying pan using taro, which is in season in autumn.

Garlic shrimp version with taro! !
The texture of the taro accentuates the plump shrimp and makes it delicious.

material

Peeled shrimp…200g
*Garlic: 1 clove (grated)
*Sake: 1 tablespoon
*Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
Taro…200g
Salad oil…2 teaspoons
Butter…8g
Salt and pepper…a little

How to make

1.Make a slit on the back of the peeled shrimp and remove any devein.
Add a little potato starch (not listed) and rub.
Pat dry with kitchen paper.*Rub it in.

2.Peel the taro and cut into 1cm thick pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan and fry the taro.
When it becomes golden brown, flip it over. Cover with a lid and steam for 1 to 2 minutes.

3.Move the taro to one side of the frying pan, add butter and the shrimp from Step 1, and fry.

4.When the shrimp change color, stir-fry them all together and season with salt and pepper.

If you overcook the shrimp, it will become tough, so the trick is to finish it quickly! !Sprinkle with parsley to finish! !

The taro is crunchy and sticky♪ The taste of the shrimp and garlic makes it delicious! !
