Today’s fish dish is delicious with new potatoes!
New potatoes have a high moisture content and are soft, so they can be prepared quickly.

The oyster sauce and butter suppress the smell of salmon, and the rice goes well.
Also recommended for lunch boxes.

Ingredients (for 2 people)

Raw salmon…2 slices
New potatoes…200g
Salt and pepper…a little
Potato starch: 1 and 1/2 tablespoons
*Oyster sauce, sake, mirin…1 tablespoon each
*Soy sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
Butter…10g

How to make

1.Wash the new potatoes thoroughly, including the skin, and cut into rounds about 1 to 1.3 cm thick.
Expose to water. Cut large potatoes into half-moon or ginkgo slices.

Drain the potatoes in a colander. Place in a heat-resistant container, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and heat in the microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.

2.Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3.Add potato starch and salmon to a plastic bag, let a little air in, close the bag, and shake to evenly and thinly coat with flour.

4.Heat the butter in a frying pan and fry the salmon.

5.When the salmon starts to turn whitish, turn it over in half and grill the potatoes in the empty area.
When it becomes golden brown, flip it over.

6.Add * and quickly mix it all together to complete.

Season with pepper, sprinkle with green onions, and enjoy.
It’s delicious on top of rice or in a bowl.
