Today’s new onion recipe is easy and delicious.

It’s easy, just heat the new onions in the microwave, fry them in a frying pan, and then toss them in the garlic vinegar soy sauce!

Ingredients (for 2-3 people)

New onions: 2 pieces (250g)
Olive oil…1 tablespoon
*1 tablespoon each of soy sauce, vinegar, and mirin
*Sugar: 1 teaspoon
*Grated garlic…1/4 teaspoon

How to make

1.Cut the new onions into quarters, keeping the core intact. If it’s small, you can cut it into two equal parts.
Place in a heat-resistant container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and heat in the microwave at 600w for 5 minutes.

2.Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onions, cut side down, over medium-low heat with a lid on.

Once browned, cook the other side for about 5 minutes until the onions are soft.
If it looks like it’s going to burn, turn down the heat.

3.Add the combined ingredients*, mix well, and remove the onions.

Finish by pouring over the remaining sauce in the frying pan! !

With chopsticks, you can cut it easily.
The sweetness of fresh onions is delicious! !
