Hello! This is PAO.
A golden combination of chicken and potatoes♪
An easy side dish made in a frying pan. Also recommended for lunch boxes.
Curry powder and soy sauce mix well with chicken and potatoes.
Ingredients (for 2-3 people)
Chicken thigh…1 piece (300g)
◎Salt and pepper…a little
◎Sake: 1 tablespoon
◎Grated garlic…1/3 teaspoon
Potato starch: 2-3 tablespoons
Potatoes: 2 pieces (200g)
Consomme granules: 1 teaspoon
Curry powder…1 teaspoon
*Soy sauce, mirin…1 tablespoon each
*Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Salad oil…1 tablespoon
how to make
1.Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and rub in the ◎ ingredients.
Cut potatoes into chunks and soak in water.
2.Add the chicken from step 1 to a plastic bag together with the potato starch, add air and shake to evenly coat the flour.
3.Heat salad oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken pieces from step 2, skin side down.
When the whole becomes white, turn it over.
4.Drain the potatoes in a colander, put them in a heat-resistant container, cover with plastic wrap, and heat at 600W for about 3 minutes.
Enough to fit a bamboo skewer. If it’s hard, add more for about 30 seconds at a time.
5.Add potatoes from step 4 to step 3 and brown.
6.Add the consommé granules and curry powder and stir-fry until combined. When it’s no longer powdery, add * and mix it all together to complete! !
After adding the soy sauce, mix it quickly as it can easily burn.
Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
