Easy to use in the microwave today!
Chicken fillet and eggplant marinated in garlic and soy sauce! !

Ingredients (for 2-3 people)

Chicken fillet…3 pieces
Sake: 2 tablespoons
A pinch of salt
Eggplant・3 pieces
*Vinegar: 2.5 tablespoons
*Sugar: 1 tablespoon
*Soy sauce: 1/2 tablespoon
*Pinch of salt
*Grated garlic…a little bit
*Sesame oil: 1 teaspoon
*Roasted sesame seeds…2 teaspoons

How to make

1.Cut the fillets in half lengthwise and place them in a heat-resistant container. Add sake and salt, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and heat in a 600W microwave for 3 minutes to remove the heat.

2.Once the temperature has subsided, tear the fillets with your hands and soak them in the steaming liquid to keep them moist.

3.Cut the eggplant in half lengthwise and make fine cuts diagonally. Apply sesame oil to the skin.

4.Wrap each eggplant in plastic wrap, place in a heat-resistant container, and heat in the microwave at 600W for 4 minutes.

5.Mix the * ingredients to make the marinade.

Cut the eggplant from step 4 into 6 to 8 pieces and soak in the marinade.

6.Squeeze the juice from the chicken breasts in step 2 and add to step 5. Add 1 tablespoon of the steamed water from the chicken breast and mix.

It’s refreshing and delicious when served on a plate and garnished with shredded shiso leaves.
Adding soy sauce to the marinade gives it a Japanese flavor that goes well with eggplant and chicken breast.
