Hello! This is PAO.
It’s easy with just one frying pan! This recipe is full of cabbage.
It’s easy, just layer the pork and cabbage in a frying pan or pot, cover with tomato sauce, and steam.
Top it off with melted cheese and it’s gooey and delicious!
Ingredients (for 4 people)
Thinly sliced pork belly…300g
Cabbage… 1/2 piece
Salt and pepper…a little
*Canned boiled tomatoes…1 can (400g)
*Grated garlic…1 clove
*Olive oil…1 tablespoon
*Consommé soup base: 2 teaspoons
*Salt and pepper…a little
*100ml water
Sake: 2 tablespoons
Melting cheese…about 50-70g
how to make
1.Cut the thinly sliced pork belly into quarters. Cut the cabbage into 3cm pieces.
Spread 1/3 of the cabbage in a frying pan or pot, then spread half of the pork belly. Repeat this twice and finally add the cabbage.
2.Mix the * ingredients.
3.Spread the tomato sauce from 2 over and around 1.
4.Stir in the sake, cover with a tight-fitting lid, and heat over medium heat. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 25 to 30 minutes.
When the cabbage is tired, add melted cheese, cover, and heat until the cheese melts, and it’s done! !
◎If the lid doesn’t close tightly, check on it halfway and add more water if it’s not enough.
If you steam it for about 30 minutes, the cabbage will become soft and you can cut it like a cake with a fryer.
